First-Class Mail

The everyday USPS class for letters and documents — typically 3–5 business days, with no tracking unless you add it.
First-Class Mail is what an ordinary stamped letter travels as. It is also the base layer under most extra services: Certified Mail, for example, is First-Class postage plus the Certified fee.
Delivery times are service standards, not guarantees. Tracking is not included by default, which is the usual reason people move up to Certified.
